Do I need a HIP?

New legislation comes into force on 14th December, which means any property put on the market
for sale will need a Home Information Pack (HIP).

However, if your Huf Haus was built after 2006, this will not be required. For more information,

What does it cost?

The HIP will cost approximately £290 plus VAT

How long does it take?

It will take between 10-15 days.

What does it entail?

The NHBC will guide the client through the whole process and give regular updates. The pack will include:

• Energy ratings
• Title deeds
• Property searches
